Notes - Rev. Edward Winslow was on a list of persons deemed inimical to the United States in 1777 in Braintree. He was minister of Christ Episcopal Church, Quincy until the Revolution in 1776 when he went to New York after the Revolution and died there, and is buried under the alter in St. George Church. The widow and children removed to North Carolina. He was son of Joshua Winslow, a merchant, in Boston, graduated at Harvard in 1741, married & resided in Barbados, went to England to be ordained & was first a preacher at Stratford, Conn. before coming here.
