The rightings of Nora Belle (Winslow) Stone on herfather Benjamin
Father passed away at Lebanon, Ks. May14, 1926 on Friday P.M. at a
quarter to 5-oclock of Pnenmonia. Was laid away on sunday P.M. at 2.30
oclock from the M.E. Church. Burial in the Sweet Home Cemetry 2 miles
south of Lebanon, Ks. Father was born near Salem, Indiana April 18, 1842-
Remained there until Aug. 1862 when he volunteered and went with Shermans
Army and on the march to the sea. At the exporation of service hewent to
Missouri in 1866-went back to Indiana Jan.1st., 1867 and was marriedthe
24 of the same month to Ruthanna Trueblood. Returned to Mo. and farmed
for 3 years. Sold out and went into a Drug Store at New Point in 1870.
Continued the business untill 1883. Sold out and moved to a farm in Ks.
in June 1883. Sold out and moved to Lebanon July 1918. Died at Lebanon
May 14, 1926.
